Our mini-shelters give your group a unique sleeping place and an experience to remember.
Two separately bookable cosy sleeping corners have been created: The Beaver Castle and the Badger Castle.

Each good for a stay with a group of 10 to 20 people. If you are with a larger group of up to 40 people, you can book both mini-shelters, which are located close to each other but still have sufficient privacy and peace and quiet.

For groups on the road, on weekends, or groups who are guests at De Brink and want to offer their participants an unforgettable experience.

You live to the rhythm of the forest, waking up under the fresh rays of the sun with familiar and unfamiliar bird calls as a soundtrack. Gather wood and keep the fire burning to tell tough stories around the campfire, cozy up together or admire the starry sky.

On our covered sleeping platforms, you will lie protected from wind and rain under a solid wooden roof with a view from your sleeping bag of the gently extinguishing campfire.

A (first) unforgettable camping experience is what our mini-shelters aim to offer without having to pitch a tent. Bring your own sleeping bag, sleeping mat and torch. That's all you need to make a mini-shelter an adventure.

Layout

Each mini-shelter consists of two covered platforms in an open area on the grounds of The Brink. We have two of them; the Badger Fort and the Beaver Fort. Both castles are close to each other and together can accommodate 40 people. They can be booked together or separately.

A castle consists of:

• 2 covered platforms, with space for up to 10 people per platform
• total sleeping capacity per castle 20 people
• sleep on your own sleeping mat in your own sleeping bag
• Fire pit in front of the castle for cooking, sitting together around the campfire

Sanitary

Dassenburcht and Beverburcht do not have their own sanitary facilities. There are shared sanitary facilities within walking distance

The sanitary block has 7 toilets and 7 showers and enough washbasins.

Accommodation formula

You usually cook on the wood fire yourself.

Each castle has its own fire pit with benches for campfires and sturdy fire grills for cooking.

For a small extra charge, you can use our equipped, handy patrol cases with cooking pots, pans and all other kitchen equipment to prepare a meal on an open fire.

• cooking kit 20 people : 20 eur per weekend / 2 euros per additional day
• crockery box for 10 people : 5 euros per weekend / 1 euro per extra day

If you want a bit more comfort, you can rent extra gas fires.

If you want to show-cook like a real campfire chef, rent our dutch ovens.
Eat on the sturdy tree-trunk picnic benches under the Minishelters' stretch tent.
Would you still like one or more meals in full board? That is certainly possible. Meals will then be consumed in the nearby main building.
