Moerkensheide is located in the municipality of De Pinte, 10 km south of Ghent, in a region demarcated by Leie and Scheldt. The youth centre itself has 5 ha of play forest and is adjacent to the village centre.

Moerkensheide accommodates small and large groups and is easily accessible by bus and train.

Schools stay at Moerkensheide with forest classes, reflection and formation days, school working weeks. Youth movements and youth work organise (tented) camps, bivouacs, weekends, courses and cadres' training.

Green surroundings, a flexible building, a cordial, tailor-made service ... no question too crazy to solve. It's gladly done!
