Description
You will find JVC Bautershof in Sint-Truiden, the capital of Haspengouw. It is an ideal base to explore both the City of Sint-Truiden and the beautiful fruit region.
The estate
The Bautershof domain is a wooded estate of approx. 5 ha. In the three camp houses and the camping area, we welcome hundreds of young and slightly older people every year.
In the summer months, the domain can only be booked as a whole. The Cardine Centre (56 pers.), the Studio (16 pers.), the Small Camp House (26 pers.) and the Camping Area (100 pers.) have a total capacity of 198 people.
During the rest of the year, only the Cardijncentrum and the Studio, adjacent to the Cardijncentrum, can be booked.
For soft recreation
The domain is accessible all year round for soft recreation: walking, jogging, cycling... Dogs are also welcome, although kept on a leash.
When you enter the domain you reach the car park. From there you can use pushcarts to reach the camp houses and camping area.
In addition to hikers, holidaymakers and campers, cyclists can also enjoy the Bautershof. The Haspengouw cycling route network traverses the estate.
Fun and games
Children also have fun at Bautershof. More than 3ha of forest on the estate are openly accessible for them to play in. Be sure to look for Dikke Bertha, an ancient beech tree.
The lawns and the pond
Bautershof has several nice lawns where you can romp around, play and do sports.
The showpiece of our estate is certainly the pond, which, being centrally located, can be enjoyed by all present and visitors.
Although the pond is beautiful to look at, it is not suitable for swimming or playing in.
Waste
There is also sorting at the Bautershof. There is a sorting corner for all recyclable materials and scattered around the estate are several bins. Think of nature and handle your waste wisely!

Prachtig
Superleuke ervaring op deze prachtige locatie. Alles is er tip top in orde: bedden, leefruimtes, sanitair... Alleen het bestek moesten we meebrengen. Top! Zeer goede communicatie ook met de verantwoordelijke.

- Prachtige, groene omgeving
- Niet bereikbaar met de wagen, dus minder handig als je veel materiaal meehebt
Rustige locatie
Mooie verzorgde en vooral rustige plaats! Het was niet heel groot, dus als je binnen een spel wil spelen is daar niet veel plaats voor, of je moet alle tafels en stoelen al gaan verhuizen. Kleine spellen zijn wel mogelijk. Ook was het heel fijn dat het mogelijk was zondag om 17u te vertrekken!

Mini-camp au centre Cardijn
Super endroit pour un camp entre ados avec des extérieurs top, proximité des transports et possibilité de jeu dans le village et dans la ville. Les intérieurs sont suffisants. Plus grands que le rendu photo.

Fijne omgeving
De omgeving rond het gebouw is heel groen en rustig. Leuk om eens buiten te zitten! Het gebouw zelf is ook heel proper.

Bosklassen boutershof basisschool KIDS
We zij al jaren vaste klant hier en over de meeste dingen kunnen we alleen maar positief zijn. Het enige pijnpunt is, en dat is ook al een kwaad van jaren, dat het in de keuken behelpen is met materiaal wat niet meer voldoet. Het vuur i op de laagste stand zelfs te intens en de oven weigert dienst.

We zijn er onmiddellijk mee aan de slag gegaan en er staat een nieuw fornuis te blinken en over enkele weken wordt de nieuwe, aparte en grotere oven geleverd. Volgend jaar zullen jullie dus zonder problemen kunnen koken.
We kijken er alvast naar uit om jullie terug te verwelkomen!
een verblijf in het cardijncentrum in Bautershof kis een geweldige beleving
we logeerden in het grote cardijn gebouw met 2 x 24 + 8 bedden. Het centrum ligt midden in een bosrijke omgeving, waar je wakker wordt met fluitende vogels in de bomen alom. In je vrijde tijd kan je er talrijke wandelingen maken in die omringende bossen. We hebben er zelfs een bosspel georganiseer
- de omvang van het gebouw met zijn grote keuken en twee ruime lokalen, waarvan één zelfs een bar is

- het oude gebouw met 24 bedden, vooraan aan het domein, dient zo vlug mogelijk gerenoveerd te worden

Het Klein Kamphuis (het oude gebouw) heeft er al heel wat dienstjaren op zitten. Vandaar dat dit enkel (ter aanvulling) in de zomer verhuurd wordt. Eind volgend jaar zal het plaats ruimen voor een nieuw dagcentrum en nieuwe slaapplaatsen.
