Description
Youth camp De Maat is located in the vast greenery on the road to Postel. The renovated outbuildings of a vanished castle and the adjacent park give the youth camp a unique character.
The main building has room for 75 people and sleeping tents (up to 75 extra places, up to 150 extra in summer) can be added. As a group, you have to cook and clean yourself. In the adjoining park you can play sports and games to your heart's content, provided you observe a number of rules. Youth camp De Maat is recognised by the government as youth accommodation.
The adapted dormitory on the ground floor is easily accessible from the entrance. On the corridor near this dormitory there is an adapted bathroom with toilet, washbasin and shower. The main building has two large multifunctional rooms, one of which can serve as a dining room near the kitchen. On the floor that can only be reached by stairs there are further dormitories. A separate sleeping block and a sanitary block (very convenient for those sleeping in the tents) are also provided outside.
