Our premises, on the outskirts of the city, have many assets: lots of space inside and outside. Next to the classroom is the "Groene Banaan" domain, which is a green area/forest on the old marshalling yard of Gent-Dampoort. The Gent-Dampoort railway station is just a 10-minute walk from our premises. Also within walking distance is the park with swimming pool called "de Rozebroeken". Ideal for a weekend, midweek or a longer camp with various possibilities from forest games to city games.

The Leaning Chalet contains 3 rooms, including 1 smaller room downstairs, 1 larger dormitory upstairs and a very large room downstairs with mezzanine and sofa corner downstairs. The kitchen is equipped with two ovens, two gas basins with four fires each, two fridges and kitchen equipment. The sanitary facilities include three toilets and three showers + a separate shower and toilet that are wheelchair-accessible. Dirt bags, brushes and tappers are available at the accommodation. Towels, cleaning product, sponges and toilet paper are items that tenants should bring themselves.

There is paid parking around the premises. However, there is space for 2 cars on our driveway. If you would come with more cars, please look for free parking nearby (e.g. Rozebroeken or Azalea Park car park).

There is wifi on the premises. When you get to the charging page, user: verhuur and ww: verhuur9876. This does not imply any additional charges.

On Sunday afternoons our own operation continues on the premises, therefore it will not be possible to rent our local later than 1pm on Sundays. If you would like to hire our premises for a midweek and would like to do so from Sunday evening, this will be possible from 20h. However, our trunk/bar will continue on Sunday evening. This can cause noise pollution in the adjacent room, so we recommend not putting children to sleep here. Also, on Sunday evening people of our own scouts will be present on the terrain and park their bikes here. If you consider this a nuisance, please do not rent our room on Sunday evening.

When booking, you can set your preferred arrival and departure times. Please stick to these as strictly as possible so that our rental team does not have to wait unnecessarily. 

The following should also be taken into account. We have a zero tolerance for this:

• No cars on the site
• Outside, silence after 10 pm. If the neighbourhood contacts us for noise nuisance, a warning will be given. If there are still complaints at the end of the weekend/camp, you will leave the next day without returning the deposit. 
• No fires on our site
• No walking on the roof and no drawing with chalk, charcoal or other mottling on our walls or floors. 
• Please sort and do not leave any coarse rubbish or frying oil behind
